I studied Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at National Taiwan Normal University (MA), and Linguistics at Indiana University - Bloomington (PhD).  

My 2013 dissertation looks at the interaction of syntax and information structure in phenomena related to the sentence-internal domain as well as the nominal domain in Mandarin.
