Bridesmaid: MiaHow long have you known the bride? (Or what’s your relationship to the bride?)Her long lost older cooler sister – 22 years, 11 months, and 3 weeksUsing 1 word describe the brideNose What is the most annoying thing about the bride?Everything
The best characteristic or trait about the bride?
Her beautiful smile is huge…goes from ear to ear and accentuates her forehead vein.
What is the first image that pops in your head when you hear "Yostina Matta?"
A round nose.
How many times have you seen the bride cry?
Never, she’s always super excited when I'm in her presence!
Which TV/movie/book character does the bride best represent in real life?
Laura Bush because she’s a republican, elegant, and gets along with everyone!
What was the best time you had with the bride?
Our vacation to Avon-by-the-Sea in August 2002.
Where were you when you found out about the groom’s proposal?
Caramel-by-the-Sea, California sitting on beach gazing at the beautiful ocean—don’t be jealous!
What was your first thought when you found about the groom and bride’s relationship?
There’s a huge height difference!
If the bride had to choose between watching General Hospital or talking with her groom, which do you think she’ll choose? If you choose talking with her groom, how many years/months/days before that’d change?
General Hospital for sure!!
Who wears the pants in the relationship?
I guess Chris, since his pants will always be longer than Tina’s!
Who would kill who first if the bride and groom were stranded on deserted island?
Tina would kill Chris from all the talking she’d do!
Which fictional mother do you see the bride closely resembling as a future mother?
June Cleaver because Tina will be such a good mom and housewife!
How many kids do you think they will end up with?
Well, since Tina idolizes me she’ll probably aim for three kids just like I would like!
Who is more likely to play the "bad cop" when disciplining the children: the bride or the groom?
YOSTINA FOR SURE!! She finds joy in yelling and disciplining kids every Sunday at church!!
In a game of Connect Four who would win?
Nobody, that game sucks!
Who should be more scared of their in-laws, the bride or groom?
Chris cause Misho will talk his ear off till the wee morning hours!! Good luck, Chris!
Do you have a funny story about the groom that you'd like to share?
There are sooo many to share, but the most memorable story is when Tina was about 3 and I was 12. Long story short, Tina insisted that I sleep next her and so I woke in what I thought to be a puddle of sweat, but the reality was Tina peed all over the bed and I had been sleeping (rolling around) in her pee all night—GROSS!!
Any last wishes or comments to the bride?
I wish you both the absolute best in your new lives together! You’re two incredible people and I know God has brought you together for so many wonderful reasons. Chris- I admire your grace, gentleness and wisdom at such a young age. Tina- you really are my sister and I love your laughter and I admire your joi de vivre ( joy of life in French). I love you both very much! Cheers to Chris and Tina!!
