Students will go outside regardless of the weather for recess, please send your child with a warm raincoat daily.
If you have extra raincoats that your child has outgrown or that you don't use, please consider donating them to school so other students can use them on the rainy days.
Thank you so much!!!
Cold and Flu season is here!
Please visit the 4J District guidelines for when to stay home from school (link above).
Remember, children don't learn very well or get much out of school when they are ill. Additionally, coming to school sick spreads the illness to other students and teachers, disrupting learning for everyone.
If your child has a fever, sore throat, coughing, diarrhea or any other the other indicators of illness found in the guidelines; please keep them home so they can recover.
If your family objects to the release of directory information, the form to do so is here. Most of the options in this packet are not relevant for elementary schools (like military and college recruiters) so please disregard those. You'll only need to return the form if you are choosing to opt out.
Please carefully consider the implications before opting out - and if you have questions, Brigitte is happy to help - just call the YG office!
Congratulations to the YG OBOB team "Backwards BOBOs" who won our school's OBOB competition and went on to the regional competition on March 15th, placing third in the region!!
