We are pleased to announce that the Young Functional Analysts' Workshop 2026 will take place in Cardiff before Easter, from the 23rd to the 25th of March, in the School of Mathematics (Abacws). It has been running successfully since 2008 in different UK's universities (this is the first time happening in Cardiff and indeed in Wales).
Attendants at YFAW2026, may be interested in another big event that will be held at the same place (Cardiff University / School of Mathematics) one week after YFAW2026, which is BMC2026 (British Mathematical Colloquium), a big annual national pure mathematics conference held on 30 Mar - 2 Apr. Maybe some of you might find it easy to stay in Cardiff for an extra week to attend this exciting conference with exciting speakers. BMC this year will have separate sections for Analysis and for PDEs, so it has a lot to offer to analysis-minded people, as well as a poster competition with prizes for the winners. For more details, can be found here.
Prof. Karl Michael Schmidt, (Cardiff University).
Prof. Claudia Garetto, (Queen Mary University).
Prof. Kasia Rejzner, (York University).
Dr. Pieter Naaijkens, (Cardiff University).
Dr. Colin Wright (Solipsys & Freelance).
For more details about our plenary speakers, can be found here.
