Welcome to Grade 10 Visual Art! Before we begin, be sure to check out the course information here so you know what to expect during this semester.
You may want to log in to you the classroom moodle page and set up your profile. We will be using moodle to create our digital portfolios. You will also find handouts, extra links and classroom presentations there. If you haven't used moodle before, the instructions are here:
What the heck is Moodle anyways? In technical terms, Moodle (Modular Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is an online course, allowing you to connect with course notes, assignments, discussions...yes, even homework, from any computer or smart phone. During this course, I will teach from it! It may not be as pretty as this website, but is a really great tool to keep you on your toes!
To access your grade 10 Visual Art Moodle 24/7, all you need to do is the following:
1. Click on the Moodle Log In link on the left of the page or here.
2. Log in using your same username and password as you do for your school computers.
3. Enrol in my class! Search for R.S. McLaughlin C.V.I. and the Grade 10 Visual Art Course.
4. Enrol! It will ask you for an enrolment key....ready...here it is.... 1234.
5. Enjoy!
Moodle iPhone App!
Okay, last year this was free, but now it's $2.99, but in my opinion, still worth it. To always be connected with the course (because you love school so much) you can download it from itunes here.
