Please read the following instructions carefully. Student Riders will not be Practice Ready and may not participate in team practices until ALL of the following steps are completed.

1. Team Registration Form: Complete the Team Registration Google Form. Please note that everyone is welcome to complete this form beginning today. However, student riders with a Parent Rider committed to ride on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays with the team will have priority registration through October 15th, will be charged a reduced registration fee, and will receive an invitation for Step 2 of registration within 24 hours. New riders without a committed Parent Rider will receive the invitation to begin Step 2 beginning October 15th. 

As part of the Team Registration, all families will be required to complete the Team Volunteer Form and to update or complete your Team Snap profile, including Contact Information, Player Details (health insurance, allergies, medications) and agree to the Code of Conduct (MVHS MTB Code Of Conduct >).  Student Riders will not receive the PayPal Invoice for payment of registration fees (Step 2) until a) Team Volunteer Form is complete, b) TeamSnap Profile is updated, c) reviewing and agreeing to the MVHS MTB Code of Conduct, and d) Team Registration Form is submitted.

2. Team Registration Fee/Dues: When your registration window opens, watch for an email from "Monte Vista MTB Team" with a PayPal Invoice for the Team Registration Fee. Click "View and Pay Invoice" in the email.

3. NorCal Registration and Fees: Upon receipt of the Team Registration Fee, wait for an invitation from NorCal/NICA PitZone. Complete the NorCal registration process and pay the NorCal fees at pitzone.nationalmtb.org Complete registration in PitZone is required to practice with the team. Registration is complete when a rider is "Practice Ready" in PitZone. You have the option to also register for races in PitZone now or later.

4. Before Practices Begin: Have your bike inspected by a local bike shop and have them complete the Safety Inspection Form (Bike Safety Inspection Form).   Your rider will not be able to practice without this completed form.  Please email a digital file (jpg or pdf) of the completed form to mvhsmtbike@gmail.com.

5. During the Season: 

   1. Use TeamSnap to track events and update availability

   2. Use PitZone to sign up for races

**Coaches and adults riding with the team must also register with Pit Zone.  Please contact the Head Coach or Team Director to get started.
