The club welcomes students in grades 6-12.

Practices are on Tues/Thurs (after school) & Sat morning. We compete in 4-5 NorCal League races plus a State Championship race. We'll kick off the season with a couple pre-season events in the late Fall and regular practices start in Jan.

For practices on Tues/Thur, arrive to the Rolling Hills Church between 3:30-3:50, dressed/ready to roll at 4:00. On Saturday mornings, we ride longer, leaving the parking lot at ~9:30 am and arriving back around noon. Plan to arrive around 9:15 am for Saturday morning practices.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Monte Vista MTB is a club sport team at Monte Vista High School in Danville, CA. We are a volunteer-run team of 40+ riders who participate in the NICA NorCal League cross-country (XC) mountain bike racing series.

The team is a licensed non-profit and member of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).

May 16th - Devo Race 5 (Six Sigma)

May 17th - HS Championships (Six Sigma)

WHAT YOU NEED

Riders will be required to purchase performance wear and the right gear to ensure a safe and enjoyable mountain biking season. Our season runs through Winter and into Spring and riders are required to be properly prepared for the weather and conditions. We see it all and ride through everything!
