Welcome to the National History of Harrisonites, Incorporated! Founded in 1977 by twenty-five extraordinary pacesetters who never thought their vision would endure decades to come. Our Founders stepped out on the purposes of holding reunions, promoting love and spiritual fellowship, providing social and wholesome recreation, improving the community, and promoting cultural enrichment. For the past 44 years, we have delighted ourselves by following the traditions the Founders set. Administrations past and present have transcended their ideas by increasing membership, improving communication, and providing services to our members as well as our community.
Our call for action and perseverance has spiraled our organization to the forefront of this millennium and made us a force to be reckoned with and appreciated. Our voice is heard by many as we answer the call of those in need of being educated, entertained, enriched, recognized, improved, spiritualized, and loved.
We feel the urgency to take an innovative approach to one of our past biennial themes "The Spirit of the Harrisonites.” We feel strength in our voice and glory in our hearts as we welcome you to explore our history as we proudly share who we are in our continuous quest to advocate the purposes for which we organized.
For the Harrisonites this history is intended to support your needs as member by providing needed information and tools and as a resource for the business of our organization. It is also here to let the world know that we exist and are proud of our past, present, and future achievements. We pray that it will entice our children, their children, and children to come to the end of this world as we know it.
