On Friday, March 2, 2018, the Chicago Defender will celebrate its 11^th Annual Men of Excellence Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Regency Ballroom. This highly anticipated awards ceremony will recognize 50 world-class men from the Chicagoland area who have displayed the highest level of leadership, whose commitment to excellence is empowering, and whose achievements are unparalleled.

We are hopeful that you will accept this distinguished award, which to date has been presented to 450 of Chicago’s brightest and most accomplished men, CEOs, Presidents, Business Owners, Corporate Professionals, and Students to celebrate their profound influence within their communities Past awardees have included City Treasurer Kurt Summers, International Financier Shawn Baldwin, Real Estate Mogul Quentin Primo, Financier Lester Coney and many others that make up this coveted brotherhood of men of excellence.

All of our award recipients will be featured in the Chicago Defender, Men of Excellence Special Edition to be published on Thursday, March 1, 2018. We will need your current biography (180-word count maximum) and a Hi-Res Professional Photo Headshot (300 dpi, PDF format), sent to Sharita Childs via email at SChilds@mgpgevents.com, no later than Friday, February 23, 2018. If you do not have a professional photo headshot, our staff photographer will be scheduled to take photos at the Chicago Defender headquarters on Monday, February 5, 2018 starting at 10:00 AM. The MOE event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Regency Ballroom, beginning at 7:00 pm.
