White Belt Test

After becoming more familiar with Google Chrome and how to search the internet, it is time to see what you have learned and what you will use as you become a more powerful Google Ninja!

For this belt, you should download Chrome to your computer and create a Google account (or resurrect an old Gmail account). 

1. Share your email address on the Canvas discussion board.

2.  Find TWO Chrome Extensions. Find one that will help students and one that will help you as a future teacher. Briefly explain both extensions and include the Chrome Store link.

3. Try out some of the searching options? Search for something without any tools, then use TWO different search tools.  What tools did you use? Did they help narrow down your search? What was the difference?

4. Talk about TWO tips discussed in the video. What did you use? How likely are you to continue using them?

Open a Google Doc and answer questions 2, 3, and 4. Paste the Google Doc link into the Website URL tab. 

BEFORE you submit to Canvas, make sure the permission "Share" is set to "Anyone with this link" (see images below).
