Google Sites is a free website builder that integrates seamlessly with almost all Google products. It is not the best website builder out there, and like many Google products, they have all the basics but lacks many of the bells and whistles that pay-for-use applications have. Google Sites can also be a little challenging at first use. But once you get the hang of it, Sites does become much easier.
They are great for straightforward webpages. So learn to love Google Sites for what they are, what they can do…. Knowing and understanding their limits will also save you time and frustration.
As you start working with this, it might be helpful to see how you might use Google Sites in a classroom.
