Juliet and Malala

In this section we are going to write about Malala, her interviews and the things that Malala and Juliet have in common.

Malala is a student, protestant and blogger winner of the Nobel Peace Prize with 17 years old. She was born in Mingora, Pakistan on 12th July 1997. Her religious beliefs are Sunismo and Islam. On 9th October 2012, in Mingora, she was the victim of a terrorist attack carried out by the Talibans. She was shot in her face. Luckily for everybody she survived and now she is spreading her word so that all girls around the world have the right to a quality education. Juliet is a fantasy character from the novel "Romeo and Juliet" by Shakespeare. In the novel Juliet is in love with Romeo but she can't decide for herself and her parents force her to marry with a person she doesn't know or neither love. As you know , Shakespeare wanted us to feel the impossible love between Romeo and Juliet with this tragedy. Juliet and Malala have things in common like for example they both battle against the system they are subject to (Juliet against her parents and Malala againts the Talibans who don't respect the women's rights).

Now we are going to show you the best two radio programmes but first we are going to explain what did we do. In radio programmes we represent a interview with Malala in which we ask her question about her Novel Prize or her battle for women's rights.

For us, the best radio programme is this:
