Adamse (Tina)- halfling Monk

Malikai (Brent)- human Rogue

Adamse arrives in the seaside town of Azure Cove, after travelling from the secluded Monastery to the north east. She is bringing the latest batch of lore scrolls to the capital city of Clearwater, to be added to the main Monastery. Hopefully the knowledge in the scrolls will equal the cost needed to make much needed repairs on the Monastery that has been her home for the past six years.

Aleesa has been working in Azure Cove, collecting information for the Library of Clearwater. Her task has been to chronicle information on skills needed to make a settlement productive and successful.

Malikai grew up in Azure Cove and now is the time to move to the big city and learn his place in the world.

The group pays for passage with a caravan heading to Clearwater with supplies. On their first break after four hours of travel Adamse hears a noise in the jungle nearby and goes to investigate. She comes across a wild boar foraging for food. Trying to sneak closer for a better look, she ends up alerting it to her presence and after a few moments staring each other down, she is the first to look away and when she does the boar charges.

Aleesa and Malikai hear the commotion and head out to see if Adamse needs assistance. As they approach they witness the boar goring Adamse and blood spraying everywhere. Aleesa tries out her sleep spell for the first time in a non-controlled environment and succeeds in putting to sleep the boar...and Adamse, Malikai and two wagon drivers. She then shoots the boar with her crossbow and manages to kill it and not awaken it. After waking the others they ended up with fresh meat for the caravan and tended to Adamse's wounds.

They traveled a few more hours before making camp for the evening. The Caravan Master offered them to opportunity to rest through the night in reward for providing fresh meat. During the night the camp is attacked by Goblins. The four teamsters and the Caravan Master were killed in their sleep, the Dwarven Guard Dregar woke in time to face the larger of the goblins, the death of the sleeping teamsters woke Aleesa and Adamse, Malikai slept through the attack until Dregar bellowed his battle cry and then he joined the fray. After mere moments of combat, Aleesa again used her sleep spell and again remained the only member still standing. After waking her companions, they tied the three remaining Goblins up and collected the gear of the fallen...
