This page is for the webmaster ... it is not shown on the navigation bar.
This page has some helpful tips on editing and a parking lot for some other information that could be included on other pages.
It is a work in progress ...

log in as the owner and editor. A password is required. Two-factor authentication may also be required.
Go to the website: https://drive.google.com/
Navigate to a page of interest, and edit the page. A panel on the right allows various boxes, images, or documents to be inserted/referenced in the page. A set of text edit options are displayed above a text box.
When done editing, one can preview the changes by selecting the "preview" icon at top.
The website can be published using the "Publish" button at top.
Get a Link to the Google Drive directory whose contents you wish to display
Go to Google Drive and Navigate to the directory whose contents is to be listed on the webpage
Highlight the directory, and right click to display drop down menu and click on "Get Link"
Copy the link (this copies the URL to your clipboard)
Embed this link into the webpage
Go to the webpage where you want to display the Drive's directory listing
In the right panel, click on Insert --> <>Embed
In the pop-up box, paste the URL from step 1 above
The contents of the Drive's directory should now be displayed. Only files and sub-directories with appropriate permissions will be displayed.
Note: Once the link is added, there seems no obvious way to display the directory name whose content is displayed. There seems no way to edit or display this link. Perhaps Google fixes this oversight in the future.
Each Drive Document and Directory is granted edit permissions in terms of a Google Group. If you are a member of the appropriate Group that has edit permissions, then you are allowed to edit a document or create a new document in a directory.
Log in with your email credentials (preferably a gmail address)
Go to Google Drive and the desired sub-directory
Edit a document, or create a new document (Allowed only if you are a member of a Group that has edit permissions)
Changes should be immediately visible on the webpage that either references the edited document or displays the content of a directory
Read the Website Design Philosophy when adding or referencing web pages. Keep things as simple as possible.
Avoid adding many new pages. Is the info useful? To which roles? What is the effort to maintain?
Try to use the different paragraph types (Title, Heading, Subheading, Normal Text, Small text) to maintain consistency across pages.
Use Bold, Italics, Underlining, and font colors to enhance readability. But use sparingly.
Avoid changing to a new "theme". It may require a lot of cleanup editing to make things presentable.
Respect using the limited page design elements and layouts ... these are limited to allow for more readable display on mobile devices. Simple is better.

Permissions are set up on some directories &/or files using the Group. So, then only need to update group membership and not go through and change permissions on every directory/file. A simple admin process that can only be done by the Group owner.

An HOA presence on Facebook was set up in the hopes it would be a useful way to communicate with the property owners, but very few owners used FB. So while the HOA still maintains a presence on FB, they are not used much anymore. These links are here for future reference in the event their use is resurrected.
