Surveys

Every year we carry out surveys to find out and monitor the flora and fauna in our area and try to identify opportunities to improve local habitats. These mostly take place from April to October and anyone is welcome to join us. Please email us at ascot.wildlife@gmail.com to find out more. 

We regularly survey bats, trees, water quality and wildflowers and pollinators. These surveys are great opportunities to learn about the nature around us. We are amateurs building our knowledge and understanding of our fauna and flora.

We also carry out ad hoc surveys of specific locations and for specific flora and fauna. We have some Longworth traps for small mammal surveys.
