Resources for those who work within the scope of an airport's (WHMP) Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.

I would like to think of us as the silent professionals of the airfield, an awful lot of what we do and how we do it will never be known by the flying public. They have no idea how big of an impact we have upon the safety of their flight, in fact our efforts are somewhat difficult to quantify. On one hand it is quite easy to count reported aircraft wildlife strikes, still easier beyond that to count the aircraft either damaged or brought down by wildlife, but is very difficult indeed to detail how many wildlife strikes did not occur due to efforts on the ground to prevent them.

Please be advised that as of 26 OCT23, there's still a lot of work to be done on this site.
