Hong Yu Wong is a highly committed teacher and supervisor. His PhD students have been appointed to tenure-track and permanent positions and to many postdocs. His Master's and Bachelor's thesis students have won prestigious fellowships to PhD programmes such as MIT, Michigan, Pittsburgh, LSE, Edinburgh, Johns Hopkins and the MPI.
