Google Apps for Education is spreading throughout the education community like wildfire, and for good reason. Google Apps provides a fast and easy way to create and share documents, using a web browser or mobile device. Documents are always up to date, and there's no software to install, no version or compatibility issues to resolve. I am a huge fan of Google Apps for Education. And, thanks to training at Region 6, I am now Google App certified!
Google Docs
Using Google Drive and sharing documents provides excellent collaboration for students. Up to 50 students can edit a document or spreadsheet at the same time. Up to 10 students can edit a presentation simultaneously.
Google Forms
Forms are a great way to get feedback from students or assess their knowledge on a subject. When combined with Flubaroo, it's an easy way to grade an online exam.

Google Chrome
Although not part of the Google Apps for Education, I recommend using the Google Chrome browser. The browser is fast, secure, and when you sign in to Chrome your bookmarks and extensions will port to other devices.

"You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives."
