Our Fall 2025 Meeting will take place on Saturday, November 8 at the Mt. Lebanon High School Library.
We will have snacks and conversation from 9:00-9:30am, our business meeting from 9:30-10:00am, then a Mini Conference from 10-12.
Members are welcome to bring an activity to present that has worked well in their classrooms for the Mini Conference.
We will have an optional lunch together afterwards. We look forward to seeing everyone!

“Evolution and Eras of an Empress: Mirroring Myth through Media”
Presenter: Kristin Kuhns
A German Studies Adjunct Professor at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA, and an 8th-grade writing instructor for the Ligonier Valley School District. She graduated in 2001 from Smith College with a B.A. in German Language and Cultural Studies and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh (2007).
A trailblazer in the academic study of "Sisi" she has studied the Empress Elisabeth of Austria for over 20 years and has lived and traveled throughout Germany, Austria, and Europe. Her honors thesis, "The Origin and Development of Empress Elisabeth's Legend" was quoted in the Introduction to Hametz and Schlipphacke’s 2018 “Sissi’s World.”
