Connection Site

The current work is at the far western end of the track and the vehicle goes to there. The site extends for some 500 metres.

The eastern end is dependiant on circumstances. If PWS provide transport it is 20 minutes flat walk to work site. Currently the far end of the site is another 20 minutes walk.

If having to walk al the way

This involves a 30 minute walk along an at times unevenly surface track with 2 steep sections. The return walk is harder due to the climb on the steep section, and also takes 30 minutes.

From the Junction

The eastern end sites from the junction with the Mount Connection track it is 10 minutes to the start of the work area and 20 minutes to the centre of the site. It is a further 15 minutes to the end of the section. This track is in good condition and walking is easy.

A further section that needs vegetation trimming climbs fairly gently to the high point and that takes about 20 minutes

The meeting location is in Davey Street

Just above the roundabout in Davey Street with Lynton Ave and Darcy St. So far we have found that there is ample parking there.
