To promote safe scouting:

• Scouts communicating with an adult should include their parents/guardians and the scoutmaster.

• Parents communicating with scouts should include the scout’s parents/guardians and scoutmaster.

BAND Chat - the most effective and preferred method.

Email - used more generally when needed.

Text Messaging - used mostly by scouts to scouts for quick answers to quick questions.
