About Us

We are a Scout-led troop with solid Scoutmaster and committee support, which strives to provide an excellent, well-rounded program.

Activities

We strive to have at least one activity or campout per month, attend a week-long camp each summer ("summer camp"), and regularly integrate "high-adventure" trips into the program.  Our involved parents also share their interests and skills, which helps keep our activities varied and interesting.

Advancement

We emphasize scouts-teaching-scouts and hold advancement ceremonies ("Courts of Honor") throughout the year to recognize scouts' achievements.

Fundraising

Every fall, we participate in a Scout fundraiser such as popcorn or wreath sales, and every spring, we hold a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast to raise money for the overall troop.  Funds raised by scouts' participation can be applied toward their scouting expenses.

Leadership

All Scouts are encouraged to hold leadership positions within the Troop during the scouting experience.  We work to provide them with the tools, coaching, and mentoring to be successful in each leadership position, and strive to help them be successful leaders throughout their lives.

Service

We actively serve our chartered organization and community throughout the year with service projects.
