Meetings / get-togethers

New members always welcome!

We meet in members' homes, every two weeks from September until June, on Mondays from 1pm until 3pm.  We do understand that, for many reasons, not everyone will be able or willing to hold a get-together at their home.  This is completely acceptable, though we do appreciate those members who are able to host!

To try to minimize travel to meetings, the current groups generally have (but are not restricted to) members from the following geographical areas:

North group has members within the general Dunrobin / Kinburn / Constance Bay area as well as north Kanata, Carp and West Nepean.

South group has members typically from Kanata, Stittsville, and rural and central Carp.

West group includes members from Carp Village, rural Carp, rural Kinburn, Corkery and areas in between, with members as far west as Almonte and Carleton Place.

Crystal Beach group and Bayshore group include members from West Nepean.

Some of our Home Knitters are as far away as Embrun and the east end of Ottawa.

If the number of members regularly attending meetings for a group becomes too large to be accommodated in members' homes, the group may choose to split based on the geographical locations of the current members.

Members who are looking for help with a project are encouraged to bring it to a meeting.  Members of each group have a wealth of knowledge and experience with knitting and crocheting and are happy to share it.

If  you have questions, or you wish to join us, please feel free to contact any of the group leaders, as detailed on our Contact us page.

You can be sure of a warm welcome!

We do not keep any record of attendance.
