My goal is to help health professionals and the general public gain an understanding of preventive medicine, particularly related to diet, nutrition and lifestyle behavior.  I do this by giving presentations to health professionals, health professional students and the general public in the US and Canada.

Continuing Education Programs for Health Professionals

If you or your society are interested in sponsoring continuing education on the subject of diet, nutrition and preventive health...aimed at meeting CE requirements for re-licensure of health professionals (physicians, dentists, nurses, dental hygienists, physical therapists, etc.)...

LIVE, VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS

Do you belong to a smaller or more rural club or professional society and your local study club or society cannot afford to bring in a speaker in person? There is another way...via realtime videoconferencing...using Skype or any of a number of other very simple-to-use formats...ask about this, if you are interested.

GENERAL PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS

If you belong to a civic or social group and are interested in having me speak to your group (either in person or via Skype), just let me know.  If a presentation is within 25 miles of Augusta, there is no fee. Presentations are also available for campus and community preventive health outreach programs.

I always enjoy hearing from people with interesting questions about nutrition.  That way, I learn, too. And feel free to copy and distribute any or all of these websites and files to colleagues, students, patients, family, etc.  It takes a culture to facilitate changes in nutrition behavior.

If you have any questions you would like to ask me, feel free to email or message me on Facebook.  You may also contact me on Twitter or Pinterest.

I have published an eBook, Nutrition for Smarties.  This eBook is in the public domain and you may freely copy it and share it.  You can find a copy to download by clicking on the image, below:
