An easy sheltering-in-place Feng Shui Saturday morning breakfast that has all the food groups, a large variety of foods, easy to make and tastes wonderful, especially when you eat it in your garden with jazz...

Is It Autumn?  Enjoy the Autumn Garden Bounty of Flowers and Your Fresh Veggies and Herbs

And, when you make this, make the eggplant/orzo dish Feng Shui! How much eggplant? How much orzo? How much basil? How much garlic? How much olive oil? Who cares?  And, throw in some onions and peppers, if the mood strikes you. Don't happen to have orzo around the house? Use rice, instead. Want to sprinkle on some Parmesan cheese before you serve it. Do it! Whatever the heck you want....see how easy (and dare I say...healthy?)

Karp, Ph.D., D.M.D. is Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pediatrics, Oral Biology and Oral Diagnosis at Augusta University.  He has a Ph.D. in nutritional biochemistry from The Ohio State University and a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from The Dental College of Georgia. He is an elected member of The American Institute of Nutrition (Federation of Societies of Experimental Biology), The American Society of Clinical Nutrition and is past president of the Georgia Nutrition Council.  He has served on the Governor's Obesity Taskforce and as Director of the Nutrition Consult Service at The Dental College of Georgia for over 20 years.
