Training methods change over the years as more is discovered about how dogs learn, and what makes them tick. We know that dogs learn best when they feel relaxed, happy and safe, so that's our first priority in class. We know they learn well when there's something in it for them - like a juicy bit of chicken or a game of tuggy! And we know that dogs (and their owners) deserve to be treated with fairness and respect. Finally, dogs need sensible boundaries that they understand. All this leads to happy, confident, well-mannered dogs - and what owner doesn't want that?
We use reward-based, motivational training to help dogs learn good manners in a calm, fun and friendly atmosphere. We work in harmony with your dog's natural abilities to build a relationship based on trust by gaining your dog's understanding and co-operation.
Whatever the breed, size or age of your dog we will help you to find practical solutions to problem behaviours and we will never use harsh methods.
