01. Getting Started

Create a Google Account (If you don't have one already)

In order to use Google Sites and Google drive you need to create a Google Account

On the top right of the Google search page you will see [Sign in] button (click)

In the description on the Right you will see

Google has more to offer when you sign in to your Google Account.

Sign in on the right or create an account for free.

(Click on the create an account for free)

Fill in the details. Note create a reasonable username as this may become what you are known as online (and you may start using it as your business contact name). While you can link up an existing email account and make this your Google login, I generally recommend creating a unique Google account e. myaccount@gmail.com

DO NOT click the check box under "Prove you're not a robot" as Google will try to send a text to you via a mobile phone (unliess of course this is what you want). We have found once clicked the page remembers and its very difficult to make it forget!!

Hints

If you have an email account that you normally use, you can get gmail to redirect to it. This allows you to have a non-business email account but only one account to clear.
