This page is to keep track of all the games i have developed. My homepage does a good job of putting them out there, but there is no single location where they are all put So i thought it would be nice to do this rather than integrate it into my personal website.

A 2D, turn based card battler based on the users' recent league of legends games. Uses the riots' lol api to create an interesting game for car battle lovers. This is closer to the triumph card mechanics. This was made in cocos2d-x and is using nodejs + socketio for server interactions.

GamePlay:
  • Enter the summoner name that you want to use for playing
  • Once you hit  play you are matched randomly with one opponent who is online right then.
  • Once the game starts, you have to select a stats that you want to use for comparison.
  • If the stat you selected is "better" than the same stat on the other player's card you win that round.
  • Player who wins the most rounds wins the game.

  • If the red dot is completely inside the white dot you get a +1

  • Ensure you do not toggle the wrong bits.

GloBall

posted Sep 29, 2013, 8:16 AM by vamsi krishna Veligatla   [ updated Jan 4, 2014, 9:35 PM ]

With so many games requiring long load times, I thought it would be fun to make a simple pick up and start kind of game and thats' what GloBall exactly is. A simple fast paced action game where you are defending your base at the bottom of the screen. Enemies with different behaviors pour down from the top relentlessly. Fortunately you have a couple of powerful projectile attacks to take them down. Inspirations include Echos and Geometry Wars.

Gameplay:
  • Swipe the screen upwards to launch projectiles
  • Touch and grab as many stars as you can.
  • Use powerful weapons when you have enough stars in inventory.
  • Ability to upgrade various Boosts (Health, Loot Duration, Quantity of Loot).

Invasion

posted Sep 21, 2011, 7:07 PM by vamsi krishna Veligatla

This months' theme was Story. Telling a story is really hard in games, i haven't done it before and most games use audio or video to get the point through. I choose the easy way out.. "Text", I know it isn't the best but i think ive' kept the text short and let the game kind of depict what i wanted to say. As always the source code of the game is not obfuscated in any way so you can directly download the source code from the website and check it out.
Gameplay:
  • Typical shoot em up game
  • Use arrow keys to move, WASD to set direction of shooting.
  • Score used to judge the Story outcome.
