Spread joy, one vintage song at a time!

Vintage Voices is a student organization that improves quality of life through music and gives a voice to senior citizens. Our purpose is to brighten senior citizens' days and touch their hearts through rejuvenating nostalgic music and through bridging the generational gap. We strive to relieve the stress associated with both physical and cognitive ailments while also providing a creative outlet for students to relieve stress and enjoy music.

Spread joy with us, one vintage song at a time! Our UMD chapter rehearses weekly on campus and performs about once a month at local senior living communities. Get ready to sing your heart out, hear words of wisdom from our elders, FUNdraise, spread awareness with GeriTalks, and kick back and relax with oldies movie nights! See details for our Spring 2018 Interest Meeting here.

Sit back and relax, and let us serenade your community with nostalgic music! Choose from our performance themes including standards (1940s-1970s), sock hops, Broadway musicals, holiday tunes, and patriotic tunes! Residents and communities can also request an iPod donation to enjoy nostalgic music, anytime!

Give the gift of music, for life! We donate iPods to senior living communities, so residents can listen to their favorite music, anytime. Music stimulates, relaxes, revitalizes, and improves residents' moods and memories.
