We did an official observation of tour groups in Piazza San Marco to find out the average number of people per tour group.
The graph showed above shows the number of groups that have a certain number of people in that tour group.
From our observations, we found that the average group size is 24 people and a median of 22 people. We proposed based on this graph and from previous tourism management proposals that there should be a limit of 20 people per toll group to prevent any congestion in the city and for tour guides to better control these groups.
