Getting Started

The team met on 8/24, 8/25, and 8/25 to work through initial project set up. We made our email, set up the GoogleDrive, and began laying out the website. We were able to create a working mission statement and discuss preliminary goals for the project going forward. The team is excited to begin working on the project together and with our sponsor, SerenDPT, to look into the potential of urban permaculture in Venice. The team will specifically be looking into researching opportunities on the island of Giudecca, which is the island circled in red on the map of Venice below. We look forward to continuing to work on our project and learn more about Venice and urban agriculture.
