This is a one-year advanced laboratory course designed to meet the Nevada high school graduation requirement for science and college entrance requirements of the College Board AP biology exam. Emphasis will be placed on inquiry skills and problem solving, the influence of science and technology in contemporary society, as well as career opportunities in the biological sciences. This course will fulfill one of the science credits required for graduation.
