Who we are

We are a research group in theoretical quantum information and quantum optics, based in the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT)National University of Singapore (NUS).

All applications to be sent to Valerio (physv@nus.edu.sg).

Undergraduates of NUS: we regularly offer Honors and UROPS projects, and we have also offered occasionally SPS projects and ISM. Contact us for a chat!
Undergraduates of other universities: usually we do not offer summer internships nor similar opportunities; if you want to try nevertheless, please send your CV.
Ph.D. candidates: send CV and reference letters or contact addresses. For practical information, refer to the CQT PhD programme.
Postdocs: send CV, reference letters or contact addresses, and research interests.

We are looking for a postdoc to work in topics of quantum thermodynamics. Our current research directions are:
  • Design of quantum engines
  • Design of quantum refrigerators
  • Relation between resource theory of thermodynamics and actual physical models
Starting: ideally around August 2018, but it can be negotiated.
Applications can be sent via e-mail to physv@nus.edu.sg.
