Richtlijnen voor het beoordelen van taakgerichte systemen
Richtlijnen voor taakgericht systemen en websites m.b.t. het ondersteunen van gebruikerstaken. Een site is taakgericht als het gebruikers ondersteunt bij het effectief, efficiënt en foutvrij uitvoeren van hun taken.

- Informatie: Het systeem is vrij van irrelevante, onnodige en afleidende informatie (The site is free from irrelevant, unnecessary and distracting information) B1.
- Informatie: Overmatig gebruik van scripts, applets, films, audio-bestanden, afbeeldingen en foto's is vermeden (Excessive use of scripts, applets, movies, audio files, graphics and images has been avoided) B1.
- Informatie: Informatie wordt gepresenteerd in een volgorde die voor de gebruiker natuurlijk en logisch is (Information is presented in a simple, natural and logical order) B1.
- Informatie: Als grafieken worden weergegeven dan hebben gebruikers toegang tot de feitelijke gegevens (bv. cijfermatige notaties op staafdiagrammen) (When graphs are shown, users have access to the actual data (e.g. numeric annotation on bar charts) B1.
- Interactie: Bij activiteiten die door de gebruiker of de computer moeten worden uitgevoerd wordt zijn toegewezen aan de gebruiker of de computer ten volle te profiteren van de sterke punten van elk (kijk voor acties die automatisch kan worden gedaan door de site, bijvoorbeeld postcode lookup) (Activities allocated to the user or the computer take full advantage of the strengths of each (look for actions that can be done automatically by the site, e.g. postcode lookup) B1.
- Interactie: Het systeem gebruikt geen onnodige registratie (The site avoids unnecessary registration) B1.
- Interactie: De noodzaak voor scrollen wordt zoveel mogelijk beperkt; Het aantal muisklikken is geminimaliseerd (The site requires minimal scrolling and clicking) B1.
- Interactie: Indien relevant voor de taak kunnen items makkelijk met elkaar worden vergeleken (bijvoorbeeld productvergelijkingen) (Items can be compared easily when this is necessary for the task (e.g. product comparisons) B1.
- Interactie: De gebruiker hoeft dezelfde informatie maar één keer in te voeren (The user does not need to enter the same information more than once) B1.
- Navigatie: De taakvolgorde sluit aan bij het werkproces van de gebruiker (The task sequence parallels the user’s work processes) B1.
- Navigatie: Het kritieke pad ofwel "hoofdscenario" (bv. aankoop, inschrijving) is duidelijk en kan worden uitgevoerd zonder dat de gebruiker wordt af- en/of omgeleid (The critical path (e.g. purchase, subscription) is clear, with no distractions on route) B1.
- Navigatie: Het aantal schermen dat nodig is per taak is geminimaliseerd; Er worden niet meer schermen gebruikt dan noodzakelijk (The number of screens required per task has been minimised) B1.
- Navigatie: Het systeem geeft de gebruiker duidelijke feedback over de (vervolg)actie die van hem wordt verwacht; Voor de gebruiker is telkens duidelijk wat hij moet doen (The site correctly anticipates and prompts for the user’s probable next activity) B1.
- Navigatie: Gebruikers kunnen reguliere / veel voorkomende taken snel uitvoeren (Users can complete common tasks quickly) B1.
- Performance: Met het systeem kan de gebruiker zijn werk makkelijker en sneller uitvoeren dan zonder het systeem (The site makes the user’s work easier and quicker than without the system) B1.
- Presentatie: De belangrijkste- en meest gebruikte schermelementen en functies worden gepresenteerd op een duidelijk zichtbare plaats; In het algemeen geldt: liever dichter bij het midden van de pagina dan in de verre linker-of rechtermarge (The most important and frequently used topics, features and functions are close to the centre of the page, not in the far left or right margins) B1.
- Presentatie: Belangrijke onderdelen (functies, informatie) die de gebruiker vaak gebruikt zijn zeer "nabij"; Deze onderdelen kunnen makkelijk worden benaderd (Important, frequently needed topics and tasks are close to the 'surface' of the web site) B1.
- Typen (bv. bij aankoop) wordt tot een absoluut minimum te beperken, met versnellers ("one-click") voor terugkeer gebruikers (Typing (e.g. during purchase) is kept to an absolute minimum, with accelerators ("one-click") for return users) B1.
- Navigatie: Het klikpad voor een bepaalde taak is van een aanvaardbare lengte (over het algemeen tussen de 2 en 5 klikken) (The path for any given task is a reasonable length (2-5 clicks) B1.
- Navigatie: Wanneer een taak uit meerdere stappen bestaat dan geeft het systeem aan welke stappen dat zijn en geeft feedback over de voortgang van de gebruiker binnen de taak (When there are multiple steps in a task, the site displays all the steps that need to be completed and provides feedback on the user’s current position in the workflow)B1.
- Informatie: De prijs is altijd duidelijk naast elk product weergegeven (Price is always clearly displayed next to any product) B1.
- Informatie: Het privacybeleid is gemakkelijk te vinden, vooral op pagina's die vragen om persoonlijke informatie; Het beleid is eenvoudig en duidelijk (The site's privacy policy is easy to find, especially on pages that ask for personal information, and the policy is simple and clear) B1.
- Informatie: Het systeem biedt de juiste informatie aan op het juiste moment; Gebruikers hoeven geen informatie te onthouden (Users of the site do not need to remember information from place to place) B1.
- Presentatie: Het gebruik van metaforen is gemakkelijk te begrijpen door de gemiddelde gebruiker (The use of metaphors is easily understandable by the typical user) B1.
- Data formaten volgen passende culturele conventies (bv. mijlen voor UK) (Data formats follow appropriate cultural conventions (e.g. miles for UK) B1.
- Details van de interne software werking niet worden blootgesteld aan de gebruiker (Details of the software's internal workings are not exposed to the user) B1.
- De site is geschikt voor gebruikers met weinig ervaring op het web (The site caters for users with little prior experience of the web) B1.
- De site maakt het gemakkelijk voor gebruikers om de site te verkennen en uit verschillende opties uitproberen vooraleer zij zich vastleggen (The site makes it easy for users to explore the site and try out different options before committing themselves) B1.
- Een typische first-time bezoeker kan doen de meest voorkomende taken zonder hulp (A typical first-time visitor can do the most common tasks without assistance) B1.
- Toen ze terug naar de site, zullen gebruikers zich herinneren hoe het uitvoeren van de kerntaken (When they return to the site, users will remember how to carry out the key tasks) B1.
- De functionaliteit van nieuwe apparaat controles ligt voor de hand (The functionality of novel device controls is obvious) B1.
- Op de mand pagina, is er een zeer zichtbare 'Ga verder naar de kassa' knop aan de bovenkant en onderkant van de pagina (On the basket page, there is a highly visible ‘Proceed to checkout’ button at the top and bottom of the page) B1.
- Belangrijke oproepen tot actie, zoals 'Aan mandje toevoegen', zijn goed zichtbaar (Important calls to action, like ‘Add to basket’, are highly visible) B1.
- Actieknoppen (zoals "Verzenden") altijd aangeroepen door de gebruiker, niet automatisch aangevoerde door het systeem wanneer het laatste veld ingevuld (Action buttons (such as "Submit") are always invoked by the user, not automatically invoked by the system when the last field is completed) B1.
- Commando en actiepunten worden als knoppen (niet, bijvoorbeeld als hyperlinks) (Command and action items are presented as buttons (not, for example, as hypertext links)B1.
- Als de gebruiker halverwege een transactie en stopt, kan de gebruiker later terug te keren naar de site en blijven waar hij was gebleven (If the user is half-way through a transaction and quits, the user can later return to the site and continue from where he left off) B1.
- Wanneer een pagina veel informatie presenteert, kan de gebruiker sorteren en filteren de informatie (When a page presents a lot of information, the user can sort and filter the information) B1.
- Als er een beeld op een knop of pictogram, is het relevant om de taak (If there is an image on a button or icon, it is relevant to the task) B1.
- De site vraagt de gebruiker voordat deze automatisch afmelden van de gebruiker, en de time-out is van toepassing (The site prompts the user before automatically logging off the user, and the time out is appropriate) B1.
- Ongewenste functies (bijv. Flash-animaties) kan worden beëindigd of overgeslagen (Unwanted features (e.g. Flash animations) can be stopped or skipped) B1.
- De site is robuust en alle belangrijke functies werken (dat wil zeggen er zijn geen javascript uitzonderingen, CGI fouten of gebroken links) (The site is robust and all the key features work (i.e. there are no javascript exceptions, CGI errors or broken links) B1.
- De site ondersteunt beginnende en ervaren gebruikers door middel van verschillende niveaus van verklaring (bijvoorbeeld in hulp en foutmeldingen) (The site supports novice and expert users by providing different levels of explanation (e.g. in help and error messages) B1.
- De site biedt gebruikers de mogelijkheid om te hernoemen voorwerpen en handelingen in de interface (bijvoorbeeld naamgeving afleveradressen of accounts) (The site allows users to rename objects and actions in the interface (e.g. naming delivery addresses or accounts) B1.
- De site kan de gebruiker operationele tijd parameters aan te passen (bijv. de tijd tot automatisch uitloggen) (The site allows the user to customise operational time parameters (e.g. time until automatic logout) B1.
