Reunion 2022
Note: Last day to get group rates at the hotel was April 15, 2022.
Our 7th reunion was on May 13-16, 2022 (3 nights, normal check-out day is Monday the 16th)
Branson, MO
The idea of this reunion got started with "Wild Bill" Gerald Biltoft (MMFN, 65-67) mentioning in our main Facebook group , saying that some mid-60ish shipmates were planning on getting together in Branson.
Since I (John Helsley, BM3, 69-73) obviously cancelled any plans we might have had for 2021, everyone seemed to be chomping at the bit to have another one, Bill and I decided it was time.

Spam emails are so bad right now that I am having more and more trouble send out group emails, without my emails being marked as SPAM in your own email system.
Some people get the emails, and some don't. No reasoning.
First, try looking in your email system's Spam Folder. You might find the missing emails there. If you do, you should be able to mark that message as <Not Spam>.
Another thing to try, is adding/putting uss.hoel.ddg.13@gmail.com into your address book or contacts list.

Cost : Make your own hotel reservations. (see <Hotel Info> link below)
Our group rate is $159-$179, depending on occupancy, for the basic 1K/2Q room (plus the usual taxes, etc).
The going rate for those rooms/dates is around $300.
Since no tours are involved, there will be no activities fee(s) collected up front.
Come up with your own activities on a daily basis, individually or in small groups.

Banquet: The banquet (actually just an informal dinner ) will be at the Black Oak Grill at 7pm, on the Landing, just 6 minute walking distance north of the hotel.
(The meals, plus drinks, were too expensive to justify at the Hilton Promenade, or the Convention Center across the street.)

Parking: Normally there is a daily charge for parking, but veterans are free.
BUT, you have to check in before you park, and get a pass.

The company we used for the 2017 & 2019 reunions, apparently can now get the supplies for hats. We are having 50 made, and we'll bring them to the reunion.
I will be sending out an email on this subject.
Had 100 of these made, and will bring them to reunion. They cost $3.20 each to make, plus shipping for the whole lot.
We'll sell them for $5 each. Limit 1 each until the last day to see how many are left.
