Welcome to Up N Over
Up N Over Agility Dog Training Club can be found in the village of Upper Heyford in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside. Formerly home to the USAF Guard Dog training centre, here you can train your dog in a secure and controlled purpose built environment.
Since 2000 we have provided Puppy Socialisation and training. We are Kennel Club Listed to train and hold the Good Citizen Awards (Our Reference No. AB/0169/GCDS). We provide training for the KC Puppy Foundation Certificate and for adult dogs we train towards the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards of Bronze, Silver and Gold.
UNO is also a Fun Agility Club providing training for those who wish to enjoy some fun and exercise with their dog whilst not wishing to compete. Some of our trainers and members do compete and they often return to enjoy our relaxed atmosphere. We have two sets of First Contact and Jay Cee Jumps alloy equipment and three Agility Club approved agility Trainers. Places are limited and we have a long waiting list.
At UNO we have a special welcome for rescue dogs and donate 25% of weekly Club subs to rescue organisations.
We operate the yellow dog scheme for dogs that need space. This can be for a variety of reasons such as recovering from an operation or shyness or perhaps just out of rescue or nervous. Where a dog is not suitable for a class environment we will do our best to help. However in some cases a dog may require more intensive training than an hour a week.
Dogs with issues and possibly not suitable for a class can be assessed after hours by appointment free of charge. Let us take a look. Although we do not claim to be behaviourists perhaps we can still help. We have an escape proof training field for your dog to explore whilst we chat over a cuppa. We are good listeners :o)
Hope to see you soon!
