Up N Over Agility DTC was founded in the Spring of 2000 for the training of dogs in Obedience and Agility. The seven founding members, who had worked for dog rescue for some years, recognised the need for a fun club which allowed dog owners not wishing to compete in these disciplines, to still be able to train their dogs in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We accept all breeds. We believe that in today's environment it is important that our dogs are trained to be acceptable members of society. Consequently our obedience classes aim to achieve the Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards of Bronze, Silver and Gold. Our aim to promote and encourage responsible dog ownership. It is encouraging to know that most members join by recommendation from existing members or local veterinary practices.

Up N Over will always have a Special Welcome for rescue dogs regardless of their breed. Throughout the year the Club donates from club funds to dog rescue and other worthy causes.

It is important to note that no one at UNO receives a wage or any form of payment for their services. Although we do like to remember them at Christmas with a small gift. All our Trainers and supporters freely give their time, experience and energy to support our club and charity works.

In the past we have held many events to raise funds for Dog rescue but sadly have now had to hang up our running shoes due to high demand for dog training and the need to be onsite.

Some of our past Fund Raising Events: Dogs For The Disabled, Hearing Dogs, Hethe Village Fete, Houla's Animal Sanctuary, Brackley Carnival, Wing Carnival, Pottersbury Fete, Rotti Rescue, The Round Table, Kirtlington Summer Fete, Countryman Fairs, Country Fairs, Banbury Show, Cotswold Country Fair Cirencester, Tackley Horse & Pony Show and many others. For these we ran either or both a 'Have A Go' Agility Ring or a 'Fun Dog Show'.
