DIRECTIONS: VISITS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
Take the A43 which leads to M40 Motorway J10. At the M40 J10 there is a bridge over the top of the motorway controlled by traffic lights, (be careful that you don’t get into the wrong lane and go onto M40 Motorway or services by mistake). At the first roundabout go straight ahead. Follow the signs for Middleton Stoney or Ardley - B430. Go past the (now closed) Fox and Hounds closed public house on left, (30 mph limit), and then a little further on go past Ardley Quarry and recycling plant on your left. Now keep a look out for lorry signs i.e. white lorry on black background as below,
The lorry signs will point all the way to us. The signs will point to a right turn just a few hundred yards after the recycling plant. You are now out in the fields with hedgerows either side. Eventually you will see aircraft hangers in the distance - you are now close. Next you come to a T junction on a bend. Go right here but be careful as there are two rights on this bend. You want the main road, the other is more like a single track. Now you're in Camp road which has chicane traffic calming measures, (30mph limit leading to 20 mph). Take care! Continue straight along Camp road past Heyford Leys caravan site on left. Go straight ahead. Sainsbury on right. Building work in progress both side of road. About 1500 yards further on, get ready to turn right into Heyford Park air base. This is gate 7 OX255BS. Look for the child pre school nursery sign on the fence. Ask the security guard for the Dog Club at the barrier. We are just 50 yards ahead. Please park in the tarmac car park just past club on the left. (Not the Pre School car park please). Please do not obstruct the roadway or park in front of the club entrance. Reserved. Parking on the grass is not permitted. If in doubt please come and ask. Thank you!
