Wesley Guan

Wesley Guan has been playing table tennis professionally in China and the United States for 20 years and has been actively coaching for 10 years. Wesley Guan assumed the role of Assistant Coach in the Japanese Women's Super League prior to his arrival on U.S. soil in 2012. 

As an athlete, Wesley Guan has won two times National Collegiate Table Tennis men single bronze medals, as well as numerous regional tournaments while he was pursuing his Bachelor degree at UC Davis.

As a distinguished table tennis coach, Wesley played an instrumental role in coaching numerous young athletes to reach United States national teams. He possesses an exceptional understanding of table tennis theory and excels in translating this knowledge into effective daily training routines for his students. With his distinguished table tennis coaching skill, and sustained national reputation, placing him among the elite in the field of table tennis coaching for both top United States able-bodied players and the United States National Para team. His coaching philosophy has been critical for athletes to gain more confidence and achieve their potential when competing on the international stages.
