Staff

We take the safety of your children very seriously within our setting and so ensure that our staff ratios comply with at least the Ofsted regulation of one adult to eight children.

We have a maximum of twenty-four children per Pre-school session and endeavour to have a ratio of one adult to five children (one adult to four children when the children are 2 years old).

All of our staff are level 3 qualified and have wide experience and knowledge in these areas.

Our staff have been at the setting for a number of years now, so this gives our children that familiar relationship with their key person, which helps them to remain settled and happy.

All our staff have had enhanced DBS check, and attend training on various subjects as and when they are available. This may mean that sometimes other people will come and work in their absence – these staff also have the same or similar qualifications or knowledge as our own staff as well as DBS checks.

All our staff have attained the nationally recognised Paediatric First Aid qualification, and have also undergone training in Safeguarding, food hygiene and health and safety.
