The Committee
The Committee is made up of parents, staff and willing volunteers!
We are all part of a small but amazing team at Uffculme Pre-school and we are proud of the childcare service we provide for our community
Uffculme Pre-school is where learning and fun go hand in hand
We would love to have new committee members, whether it’s to fundraise regularly or as a one off, to provide support or knowledge in a specific area or just a willing person who can commit time, energy and enthusiasm, we would love you on board!

The main roles of the committee
The committee is a supporting voice for the staff at the pre-school. Everyone will work together to ensure the aims, values and ethos is at the core of every decision made.
Uffculme pre-school and the committee are an inclusive setting regardless of
age, dis- ability, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality.
The aims of the committee are
To agree and uphold the pre-school aims, values and ethos
To ensure financial security through fundraising and grants
To ensure the compliance with all current legislation including the charity commission

Annual General Meeting
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in the Summer Term. This is where we will elect new committee members and re-elected existing members.
The new committees must agree and to adopt the most up to date constitution.
The AGM is an open meeting
The meeting will be advertised and parents of the setting will be invited to attend
