PhD talks

All current PhD students in the physics and astronomy department are welcome, for upcoming talks, see the Events page.

Snacks and beverages (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) will be provided free of charge.

At each session, a few students may sign up to give a talk. The topic may be their research or anything else they consider worth sharing, as long as the presentation is insightful and entertaining. We're aiming for TED talk quality here, not Death by PowerPoint! The duration of the talk is up to the speaker, but should be chosen to the principle as long as necessary, as short as possible.

Unless the speaker informs you otherwise, you are encouraged to ask questions or make comments at any point during the talk.
