General Responsibilities
Protocol MR cases for the following day (senior residents)
Look ahead in the schedule for fluoro and US procedures.
For aspirations, make sure lab orders are placed in Epic BEFORE starting procedure
In general, a RED or YELLOW top tube is used to send samples to the lab
Exception: Send part of the aspirate to a LAVENDER top tube if a CELL COUNT is requested
For patient calls to reading room wanting to schedule procedures, direct them to call 584-2663.
