Practice
-water bottle, or some other cool drink. Especially important when it starts getting hot.
-proper attire depending on weather. If it is a cooler day wear sweat pants or sweatshirt over shorts and shirt. They can always take it off if they get to hot.
-running shoes
-track spikes if you have them, although not required. Some parts of practice we will put spikes on.
-we don't warm up in track spikes
Meets
-team tank top or compression
-black shorts/tights
-something to warm up in like sweat pants or wind breaker.
-track spikes if you have them
-water, or other cool drink
-sun screen
-snacks, because the meets can take a few hours. Healthy choices (apples, oranges, bananas, granola bar, lunch meat sandwich, etc.). Most meets have concessions but I would not recommend eating this food until they are done running.
