Fondators
Transylvania Business Center was founded in September 1992 to create a unique NGO/NPO business center for the membership of the area of Transylvania. CAT is proud of its 23 original founding members, in addition to its more than 1000 regular members, guests and observers associated to its activities. These founders and members cover all fields needed for a business center. The first goal of CAT is to expand economic activity and stimulate trade and investment in the area.
In 1990 was reactivated the Owners and Handcrafts Association APM Cluj-Napoca, in order to represent the interests and protect the rights of its members, but also to support the activities that they were carrying and to represent them in relations with the state. The Association gives its members legal advice and assistance and provides economic, financial, entrepreneurial and managerial training.
ARIES Transilvania is an organization created for the ICT industry in Romania and is considered the largest association of its kind in Southeast Europe. This organization aims to promote professional and commercial interests of the members of the Northwest region of Transylvania, but also strengthen their representation and authority at national level. ARIES Transylvania grew up at the same time with the SMEs and large enterprises in Romania and the industry continues to grow through innovation, partnerships, clustering, technical support and transportation technology, however communicated transparently supported by members and through mass media.
Vitrina Advertising is a national full service agency with 20 years of experience in the market and is also the only “multi-regional” advertising agency. The company is based in the capital of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca, and a representative office in the capital, Bucharest.

Proplanta is a private company dealing with the development, technological research and production in the area of agro-biotechnology and bio medical. Proplanta is also a center for research and innovation in biotechnology applied in diagnostic and molecular therapies. The company products dietary supplements and natural fitodermocosmetics and also wellness products, all natural ingredients that they market and distribute. Proplanta offers nutritional consultancy and technological biochemical analysis services.
Wens Tour is a travel company founded in 1997 in Cluj-Napoca, as ticketing agents offering its customers travel services, counseling, guidance and holidays customization. Besides the tourism activities, Wens is the supporter of TIFF (Transylvania International Film Festival).
Medestet is a cosmetic surgery clinic, which was created in 1993 as the first clinic of its kind in Romania. Medestet is the first promoter of surgical procedures or non-surgical aesthetic in the country.The clinic became famous thanks to the high quality services it provides and also because of the quality of products used to satisfy the needs and preferences of each patient, registering over 15000 clients until now.
Alass Grup – Royal Classic Hotel is one the newest hotels in Cluj-Napoca, opened in April 2010. It has three stars and it satisfies all the quality requirements and European standards, having the most modern features, able to offer clients all what they need for accommodation, meals, business, conferences, seminars, other events and relaxation. Das Engineering Group is a company founded in Cluj-Napoca in 2002, specialized in entrepreneurship in construction for sanitary installations, heating, air conditioning and consultancy for sustainability and green buildings. The company holds the 3rd place in Top Business Romania in its area of activity. The most important projects are: the rehabilitation of Heritage Casino Building, Central Park Simion Barnutiu; Star Transmission Components Sebes; Multifunctional Halls in Slatina County and Sfantu Gheorghe County; Swimming Pool Codrisor of Bistrita County; Cluj Arena Stadium – Cluj Napoca.
The Negresti Oas Town lays in the county of Satu Mare. The city is the economic and administrative center of the ethnographic region “Oas”. The most important communities around Negresti Oas are Satu-Mare (50km) and Baia-Mare (45km). The city is also a transit area for tourists coming from all over the world, who wish to visit the region of Maramures.
The main goal of University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca is to train specialists, in the field of fine and decorative arts and design, who would have a significant impact in the cultural, commercial and industrial field of contemporary society, as well as to train art teachers for pre-university and university level. The University has in its structure the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design as well as a Doctoral School.
