Advertising

The first transistors made by Texas Instruments were the Types 100 and 101 and although the first sale was in December 1952 their advertising did not begin until March 1953:

In November 1953 Texas Instruments launched its new grown junction types. They were first sold for hearing aids. Sonotone was their first client.
