National Semiconductor Products

National Semiconductor Products was formed as a division of National Fabricated Products (NFP) which made electronic components such as sockets, plugs, terminal strips, receptacles contacts and lugs.

NFP is notable for being one of the first 26 US and 9 foreign transistor licensees of Bell Laboratories. They attended the April 1952 Transistor Technology Symposium run by Bell Laboratories.

Note: This company should not be confused with National Semiconductor which was formed on May 27, 1959 by eight colleagues from the semiconductor division of Sperry Rand Corporation.
