Itinerary: 4 Days 3 Green Valleys Berber Villages Trek:

1. day :Marrakech – Imi oughlad – Tizi n'tachte – Tiziane :

early morning takeoff from marrakech for a pleasante drive south wrapping our way up through the moulay brahim canyon and upper valleys to show up at the higher lower regions of the western high chart book mountains and our trailhead of imi oughlad (1450m) with the jbel toubkal , at 4167m the most noteworthy top in north africa , aglzim 3650m and aksoual 38847m ,approaching before us . here we land from our vehicle and get together with berber muleteer group . We set off up in north-westerly heading for a 2hour acclimatization climb up bend donkey tracks , passing by cornfields woods pine and juniper to the tiz n'tachete (2000m),where we shallstop to think down on the imlikl and ait oussaden valleys before carrying on for another half hour to imi n'ifri and our field cookout .thereupon a moderate climb for around 2 and half hours south-west down along an earth track to assif n' ait oussaden and the red dirt terraced town of tiziane ( 1750 m )for our convenience in our bivouac or gite.

2. day :tizziane – tizi n'taghrhourte – D'knt :

after breakfast we presently set off on our climb up along the assif n'ait oussaden valley , going through the wallnuts forests , up to tizi n'taghrhourte (1995m )and through to an uncommon practically level strecth to show up at assaka spring, where we will stop for our field outing in the midst of and marvelous quiet after nearly 2 and half hours moderately simple strolling .our evening's climb brings us down along the edges of the woodland untill we arrive at the berber town of D'knt (1870m) or agouns n Assoul where we will have our supper and spent the in a bivouac or gite .

3. day : D'knt – tizi n'tagdalte – tizi oussem :

we set off for our morning's 3 hours climb up through forests of pecan trees, fields of corn and grain to welcome the numerous sheep and goatherders – and ladies and youngsters twisted around with 20kg heaps of faggots and dried spices. We cross the tizi n'tagdalte to the drop among the juniper trees till we go to a little spring set among the trees , where we will stop for our excursion .when invigorated , we are off down twisting tracks of upper slants for some 3hours to go to a little waterway toward the start of the valley of assif n'ait oussaden . from here we enter the town of tizi oussem (1850m) at that point up to the late spring town Of Tamsoult for our camp or gite.

4. day : Azib Tamsoult - Tizi M'zzik - Imlil :

Trip to a little cascade at Azib Tamsoulte and re-visitation of cross the Tizi 'n Mzik pass (2,500m). We join the primary Toubkal valley at Imlil (1,900m), where we eat before the drive to Marrakech.

COST FOR THIS TREK:

All our holidays are tailor-made so the ultimate cost of each trek is based upon:

• The number of people in your group

• Where you are starting from and to where you wish to travel at the end of the hike;

• Whether you are including any accommodation (e.g. in Imlil or Marrakech)

• Extras such as WC tent, etc.

MEALS ARE NORMALLY:

• Breakfast - tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam, cheese plus porridge in the winter and cereal in summer.

• Picnic lunch - fresh Moroccan salad, cheese, slicing sausage, tinned tuna fish and sardines, bread, fruit, mint tea.

• Dinner - Tajine (chicken or mutton with vegetables), spaghetti, cous cous (main courses rotate depending on duration of trek), bread, coffee, tea, cake, fruit.

To confirm your booking we ask you to pay a 20% deposit. This can be in Euros, pounds sterling or US dollars online via bank account. The balance is paid in Morocco by cash – again in Euros, sterling or dollars – at the beginning of the trek.

NB: if you can't carry cash, you can always pay again the balance online by bank few days before departure.
