Itinerary - 3 Day Berber Villages Trek:
DAY 1: MARRAKESH – TIZI OUDID (2000M) – TIZI OUSSEM (1800M) – AZIB TAMSOULT REFUGE (2250M)
Our private driver pick up you from your hotel in Marrakesh and driven to the high Atlas Mountains. A drop of will be at Aguersioual and meet-up with the local team that will lead you during this part of your trek. Walk uphill via a dirt road passing via Matat village, and up toward Tizi oudid pass at 2000-meters.
From there you will have amazing views over the Azzaden and Imlil valleys. Hike down, passing through the Berber village Id Aissa. After lunch, you will hike back uphill to your final destination of the day, Azib Tamsoult, a peacefully calm place. It’s a very remote area and you will not hear any noise out there. There is an option of visiting a nearby waterfall. Overnight at a nice Refuge
DAY 2: AZIB TAMSOULT (2250M) – TIZI N’TZIKERT PASS (2930M) – AREMD VILLAGE (1900M)
Today, you will be walking uphill through the forest toward Tizi n’Tzikert Pass from where you will get wonderful views over Azzaden Valley and different colors of mountains. You can view Mount Toubkal as well from there. Afterward, hike down toward Aremd Village where you will spend the night at a nice lodge.
DAY 3: AREMD VILLAGE (1900M) – IMLIL (1740M) – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, walk down to Imlil Village, where you will be picked up and driven back to Marrakech. Thank you for choosing – your trusted travel company in Morocco.
