Took part in the Probus interclub quiz with Jenny Day and John Rogers. Helped break the ice.
17-24 Nov Durban with Gill for Beth's 90th
Gill could not fly multiple legs unaccompanied, so arranged for Brian & Gill Collet to pick her up in Johannesburg, have her to stay for a few days, and then put her on the flight to Durban.. (Gill had been staying with Bronny in Sydney, so she put Gill on flight to Johannesburg.)
Sally and I had flown up the day before, met her in Durban and looked after her for the week. From there, on to Colin and Jane for a few days, before returning via JHB, then back to Sydney, where Bronny met her. A regular 'pass the parcel'!

The bursary is available to registered fulltime students of a South African university as well as academic staff members who enjoy junior lecturer status. The focus of the Abe Bailey Bursary is leadership development and the trustees wish the bursaries to be awarded to students who are academically strong and have shown exceptional qualities of leadership and service, with a good track record - not only on a campus level but also in a wider social context.
